Welcome to James' Driving School Online.
My name is James Burman and I am an independent driving instructor working in the Tunbridge Wells area. I'm 35 years old and have been teaching for the last ten years. I first became an instructor because I thought it was something I could be good at and enjoy at the same time, although it was a lot harder to pass all the exams than I originally thought. At first I was with a big national driving school but I soon realised that to really develop my skills I needed to be running my own independent school, so in 1998 I started James' Driving School. Since then I have been working to improve my own teaching and expand my business as much as possible. There always seems to be something new to learn, each new pupil needing a slightly different approach and I'll never get tired of seeing the smile on people's faces when they pass their test.
 Lesson length and price
A lesson with James' Driving School would normally last for one hour and costs £22 before Discounts.
Longer lessons are available at £33 for one and a half hours and £44 for two hours.
Pass Plus lessons are also available.

My main catchment area for pupils is Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area including:-

I also take pupils from Tonbridge,Crowborough and Wadhurst but normally with a minimum lesson length of one and a half hours.
